These Terms of Use apply to the Forth mobile application and the getforthapp.com website. By
downloading or using Forth, you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application
End User License Agreement (EULA), available at
Apple's EULA governs your license to the app itself.
Forth is a support tool, not medical care
Forth provides self-guided support for people working on recovery and habit change. It is not a
medical device, and nothing in the app is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• Forth is not a substitute for professional care from a doctor, therapist, counselor, or licensed
treatment program.
• Do not use Forth to make decisions about medication, detox, or withdrawal. Stopping certain
substances abruptly can be medically dangerous; talk to a healthcare provider first.
• The educational content in the app, including 12-step and science-based material, is provided for
informational support only.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, do not rely on this app. Call or text 988
(Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) in the US, or call 911 in an emergency. Crisis resources in Forth are
always accessible without a subscription.
The AI coach
The coach feature uses artificial intelligence to generate supportive responses. AI-generated content
can be incomplete or inaccurate, and the coach is not a licensed therapist, counselor, or medical
professional. Its responses are not professional advice, and no counselor-client or provider-patient
relationship is created by using it. Use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals for
decisions about your health.
Subscriptions
Forth offers an auto-renewing subscription, Forth Pro, purchased through your Apple App Store
account:
• Monthly: $6.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers
• Annual: $39.99 per yearPayment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free
trial if you do not cancel before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is
turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your
subscription anytime in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a
subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies. If prices change, we will
provide notice as required and any change applies to future billing periods.
Your responsibilities
You agree to use Forth only for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose and to comply with
applicable laws. You will not attempt to reverse engineer the app, misuse the coach feature to
generate harmful content, or interfere with the app's operation or other users' experience.
Intellectual property
The Forth app, name, logo, content, and design are owned by Andrews Innovations LLC or its
licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a personal,
non-transferable license to use the app; it does not transfer any ownership rights.
Disclaimer of warranties
Forth is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied,
including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do
not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any outcome, including sustained
recovery, will result from its use.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Andrews Innovations LLC will not be liable for any indirect,
incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to
your use of Forth. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you
paid for your subscription in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow
certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will
update the effective date above and provide notice in the app. Continued use after changes take
effect constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law
principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.Contact
